Blubel is a high quality, cycling navigation aid that connects to your smartphone through an app. By harnessing the knowledge of the cycling community, the LED gestures guides you to your destination, through the most cycle-friendly routes.
Blubel’s easy to follow, screen-free gestures are simple to read on the go with great visibility and no glare both during the day and at night. As well as visual cues, Blubel also provides audio signals that can warn the user of upcoming turns so that all eyes can be kept on the road ahead.
With an easy to attach clip, Blubel ergonomically sits on the handlebars of the user’s bike. A long-lasting battery provides power for days and Blubel works anywhere in the world, with downloadable routes linked to the smartphone app.
Iterign helped to develop and prototype the enclosure of this innovative Satnav in a bicycle bell, with the prototype produced being used in the Kickstarter video. Following the success of the crowdsourcing campaign, we have continued to support Blubel through manufacture, as well as distribution.
