At the outset of every single project we do at iterign, our designers will explore all possible avenues to fully understand your product and how it will fit into its intended market.
We interrogate a range of sources, both online and offline, to ensure we won't miss a key piece of information that could be vital to the project's success. This includes conducting market analysis to determine your niche, identifying mechanisms from a variety of different industries that could be applied to your idea, assessing how to maximise the product's safety, in accordance with relevant standards, and taking time to understand how the user will interact with the product and what any potential pitfalls may be. All our research will then be summarised into a report and a product design specification that lays out the intended boundaries of the product. At this stage we may also perform an initial patent exploration.
Depending on the project, we also physically simulate scenarios that the designers may not be so familiar with to allow them to quickly gain empathy for the user so they can produce more considerate designs.
Our team will have a look at the information you provide us and produce a detailed quote for you.
We may then invite you in for a free initial meeting at our offices near Reading in Berkshire at the start of your iterign live project, where we can explore your project requirements, and help you to define the project brief.
We will always send you an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) before entering into any detailed discussions, to ensure your intellectual property is correctly protected.
When you're happy with everything, we'll get straight to work on your project providing regular updates so you can check in on its progress.
